Inspired by an exquisite architectural tile design in
Isfahan, Iran, this piece celebrates the harmonious
interplay of interconnected elements. The intricate
arabesque patterns elegantly intertwine, creating a
captivating tapestry of interlocking shapes. Like a
mesmerizing kaleidoscope, the patterns unfurl with
endless complexity, captivating the beholder's gaze. To
honor tradition, I have employed the nomadic weaving
technique known as VARNI, infusing the artwork with a
sense of cultural heritage. Notably, all the wool yarns
utilized in this creation are sourced directly from the
sheep I raised, establishing a personal connection to
the land and ensuring an authentic expression of
artistry.
